In brief. A group for adults who are both autistic and ADHD. Eight weekly 90-minute sessions by video, up to 8 people (or 10 with a support worker), led by a psychologist. A short online questionnaire first, no call needed. $480 for the program.
Who it is for
- Adults who are autistic and ADHD (AuDHD), diagnosed or self-identified
- People who feel pulled between needing routine and craving novelty
- Anyone who has found ADHD-only or autism-only advice only half fits
You do not need to talk in the group if you would rather not. Cameras can stay off, and you can type in the chat instead. The first session starts with a short welcome, so you know how everything works before we begin. You will not be asked to speak. If you would like to, you can say or type your first name, and skipping is completely fine.
What you will cover
Each session looks at where ADHD and autism pull in different directions, and how to make room for both.
When ADHD and autism meet
How the two interact for you, and why advice for one often misses the other.
Novelty versus routine
Building structure that has space for interest and change.
Sensory needs and stimulation
Too much and too little stimulation, and finding your balance.
Executive function that fits you
Planning and starting tasks with both needs in mind.
Emotions, overwhelm and shutdown
Recognising your signals and what helps you come back.
Masking, energy and burnout risk
Where masking costs you, and ways to spend less energy.
Relationships and communication
Explaining the push and pull to the people around you.
Your toolkit going forward
A plan that works for both parts of how you are wired.
How it works
Short online questionnaire
About five minutes, no call needed. It helps us check the group suits you and lets you tell us what makes it easier to take part.
Small and online
Up to 8 people, or 10 with a support worker. Join from anywhere in Australia. The facilitator may be in a different state.
Our own curriculum
Every group follows the same Inner Help program and handouts, so you know what to expect each week.
Who runs it
Each group is led by a registered psychologist on our roster who understands neurodivergence. Some groups also have a trained support worker who helps with the video room, the chat and anyone who needs a quiet word, so the session can keep going for everyone.
Price
- Eight weekly 90-minute sessions by video
- A short online questionnaire before you start, no call needed
- Handouts after each session
- Charged once your group is confirmed
Your card is saved when you sign up and charged only once your group is confirmed. A group goes ahead once at least 5 people join. If yours does not go ahead, you can move to the next start date or get a full refund.
Ways to pay
- Privately. Most people pay for groups themselves, for the whole program, paid once the group is confirmed.
- NDIS. Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants can use their funding where the group is an eligible therapy support for them. We confirm this with you after you complete the online questionnaire.
- Medicare. Medicare rebates for group sessions by video only apply in some regional and remote areas, so most people pay privately or use NDIS funding. We will let you know after your questionnaire if a rebate applies to you.
Not a crisis service. Groups are not a crisis service and are not monitored between sessions. If you are in immediate danger, call 000. For 24-hour support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or the Suicide Call Back Service on 1300 659 467.

Be first to hear when a group starts
No payment now and no commitment. We email you with the start date once a facilitator is confirmed and enough people have joined.
